So today is the first day of training. I have a plethora of emotions going through me. I am excited, stoked, nervous etc. After last years training, I am ready and a little less scared to start training this year knowing what I should expect. I’m incorporating more strength training in this year, I think that was my major flaw last year. I asked for it last year and I’ll ask for it again – Encouragement. I’m on a journey to not only push my body and physical fitness to another level but this journey is a journey of healing. This half marathon is in honor of my dad who I know would be so proud of me. So there is not much to actually say in this post other than happy first day of training to me! :] I’ll keep yall posted!
